As 2024 comes to an end, we want to take another moment to celebrate you —the heart of MESH01. This year’s Tester Spotlight series shined a light on some truly inspiring members of our community, showcasing the incredible stories, dedication, and impact that make our community so special.
Every piece of feedback, every test completed, and every insight shared helps shape products that are used and loved by people everywhere. You’re not just testers — you’re changemakers, innovators, and collaborators making waves across the world of product development.
As we head into 2025, we’re excited to continue this journey with you. Let’s make the new year even bigger, better, and more impactful — together.
Let’s meet our 2024 Tester Spotlights
Andrew Kim
Meet Andrew!
Andrew’s hobbies include cooking, going to the gym, golfing, fishing, traveling, listening to music, enjoying sneakers, practicing MMA, and spending quality time with loved ones.
As a former high school wrestler, Andrew is driven by a competitive spirit. As well as, a dedication to achieving his career and life goals. When he’s not working as a Developer, Andrew enjoys the thrill of testing products, especially onsite experiences like visiting HQs and exploring state-of-the-art facilities.

Ronnie C. Bondoc
Meet Ronnie!
A retired USAF veteran and proud father of three, Ronnie is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. He finds healing and purpose through running, hiking, scuba diving, surfing, snowboarding, and obstacle course racing.
Overcoming personal challenges, Ronnie’s mission is to inspire other by sharing how staying active transformed his life. He serves as a mentor-in-training with Hope for Prisoners in Las Vegas where he helps ex-felons rebuild their lives through education, job training, and job placement.
Ronnie is also an ambassador for organizations like Tough Mudder, Mission 22, and Operation Enduring Warrior. He has accomplished incredible feats, including hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro, trekking Salkantay in Peru, scaling the Grand Teton, and completing the Bataan Memorial Death March. Currently, he’s training for the Marine Corps Marathon 50k!
As a MESH01 tester for over a year, Ronnie loves the excitement of testing products. and providing honest feedback.

Chris Hayward
Meet Chris!
Chris is a passionate outdoorsman and MESH01 tester who thrives on adventure. From skiing and cycling to hiking, climbing, paddling, and fishing, Chris enjoys almost anything outside. He’s motivated by pushing his limits. Like skiing 100,000 vertical feet each ski season or running the 100 Mile Wilderness in 38 hours.
As the Director of Experiential Learning at Gould Academy, Chris helps students unlock their potential through outdoor education. He’s also a Ski Patroller, Maine Recreation Guide, and leader of an all-volunteer search and rescue team.
Emily Strubert
Meet Emily!
Emily is an adventurous spirit who loves exploring new places, reading, baking, gardening, yoga, strength training, and soaking up the sun. She also cherishes quiet moments and enjoys challenging herself to step out of her comfort zone.
As a mom, Emily finds motivation in staying healthy and active for her daughters. She’s passionate about wellness, incorporating functional movement exercises into her workouts to keep her body strong and thriving.
Emily loves being a MESH01 tester for the chance to influence product design while enjoying exciting new gear.

Feras Almalouf
Meet Feras!
Feras is an ultra runner with an incredible journey that began with a 5k and progressed to a 100-mile run completed in just 18 hours and 43 minutes. This year, he aimed for 2,400 miles by year’s end. Running 50-80 miles per week, he’s passionate about testing and providing feedback on innovative products, knowing his input helps shape the final designs.
Beyond running, Feras loves exploring trails and cities, photography, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Feras enjoys being part of the MESH01 community, testing groundbreaking products, and sharing feedback that drives improvement. A favorite memory was testing running shoes which have since logged 500+ miles, knowing he helped refine them for others to enjoy.

Caitlin Scroggins
Meet Caitlin!
Caitlin is a nurse practitioner and small business owner, balancing her healthcare career with running a u-pick flower farm in Michigan. She’s passionate about bringing joy to her community by providing free access to fresh flowers, creating a space where everyone can connect with nature.
An outdoor enthusiast, Caitlin enjoys gardening, trail running, and exploring national parks. She’s motivated by spreading happiness and takes pride in building her flower farm into a beloved haven over the past five years.
As a MESH01 tester, Caitlin loves influencing product designs to suit different body types.

Trista Osantoski
Meet Trista!
Trista is an adventurous MESH01 tester who loves spending time outdoors with her two dogs and boyfriend. Whether hiking, camping, paddleboarding, or tending to her hobby farm with chickens, bees, and maple syrup-making in the spring, she embraces new challenges and experiences.
As a physician specializing in wound care, Trista is driven by a desire to make the world better for everyone. She’s especially proud of her journey into medical school and becoming a doctor.
Trista loves testing for MESH01 because it allows her to contribute to improving brands she already uses while discovering new ones. A favorite memory was helping enhance a product she already loved, knowing her feedback made a difference.

Phil DaCosta
Meet Phil!
Phil is a tech leader and product tester who loves combining his passion for innovation with his active lifestyle. When he’s not working, Phil enjoys hiking, playing tennis, working out on his Peloton, and spending time with his dog and friends. Whether it’s breaking a sweat, embracing competition, or sharing moments with his furry friend, Phil is all in!
Motivated by continuous improvement and helping others grow, Phil is proud of his journey from entering the healthcare space to leading technology teams at an institution dedicated to ending cancer.
Phil loves being a part of the MESH01 community and the chance to influence product development. A favorite memory is his first test — a cooler bag that became his constant companion for three weeks, even earning a bit of jealousy from his dog!

Whitney Whittington
Meet Whitney!
Whitney is a hospital administrator and fitness enthusiast. She loves fishing, hunting, running, lifting, and teaching fitness classes.
Whitney enjoys testing new products before they hit the market. A favorite memory is logging 180 miles on a pair of sneakers during COVID-19 — a challenging but rewarding experience!

Kathy Chase
Meet Kathy!
Kathy, a dedicated runner and fitness enthusiast. She discovered MESH01 through a fellow runner and has enjoyed testing a variety of products ever since. She leads fitness classes for young moms and their children in her local park and has impressively maintained a daily running streak for over 11 years!
Kathy thrives on testing new products and contributing to their development. She’s proud of helping a company develop a product line from inception to launch and cherishes her personal running achievements.

Jonnah Glassman
Meet Jonnah!
Jonnah, a mountain enthusiast and longtime MESH01 tester, discovered the platform 12 years ago while living in Denver. Jonnah is passionate about snowboarding, climbing, mountain biking, trail running, high alpine traverses, and paddleboarding—anything that connects her with the outdoors.
As a SHIP Medicare Coordinator and Silverthorne town council member, Jonnah values contributing to better products through MESH01.

Michael Luntta
Meet Michael!
Michael, an outdoor enthusiast and MESH01 tester, loves escaping into nature through backpacking, running, soccer, and snowboarding. Since 2015, he’s completed marathons and countless half marathons, finding balance and serenity through his outdoor adventures.
Motivated by spontaneity and exploration, Michael has traveled to Iceland and Alaska on short notice, embracing new experiences alongside fellow MESH01 testers. He’s proud of running a sub 4-hour marathon and enjoys stepping away from his role as a Manager of Development and Automation to connect with family and the outdoors.
